ORIENT BELL LIMITED

Note: After successfully completing the Internship of 2 months, the students will be provided an Internship Certificate by the Company. 

DURATION :Two months (June 1, 2014 to July 31, 2014)
TERMS AND CONDITION FOR SUMMER INTERNSHIP:

  • The shortlisted intern shall work closely with Orient Bell Sales team to understand and identify the potential market for Orient Bell Limited in various cities in India. 
  • The project shall entail complete market survey and research & should provide useful insights on targeted marketing of Orient Bell Limited. 
  • The project shall be carried out for Sales & Marketing Department. 
  • The overall duration of the project shall be 2 months. Detailed scheduling of the presentation and final deliverables will be determined during the kick-off and projects planning discussion meeting. 
DELIVERABLES:

The Sales & Marketing Project’s deliverables are expected but not limited to be as follows:- 
(a) A presentation on survey and research findings; along with the trainee’s recommendations 
on the feasibility/ suitability of the market areas for tiles. 
(b) A detailed report on the project for identifying potential market for tiles. 
(c) More would be share during final allocation of Project to Students. 

SELECTION PROCEDURE:
1. Selection Criteria: 

a. Minimum scores should be either 60% or First division throughout academics (Matric onwards) 
b. Marketing vertical students are only eligible 

2. Initial Shortlisting: 
  • On the pre-set parameters provided to the college by the organization, the students who qualify a minimum score of 60% will be eligible for the campus interview. 
3. Pre-Placement Talk: 
  • A presentation about the company will be made during the pre-placement talk. Basically the presentation includes the information like selection procedure, company’s milestones,organizational achievements, candidate scope of improvement within the organization if selected, salary etc. Usually this presentation will end up with question and answer session, students given chance to ask questions about company. 
4. First Round- General Aptitude cum IQ Test: 

The students will appear in the general aptitude cum IQ test in the initial round. The students who qualify a minimum score of 60% will qualify for next round.  
5. Second Round- Group Discussions
  • The qualified students will be organized into 5 to 10 members’ team and each group will be given a topic of discussion. Shortlisted students will appear in the final round. 
  • Purpose of this round is to check communication skills, etiquette of person, listening ability, convincing power, group leadership, leader or follower and many more things are evaluated on the basis of requirement or the particular intention of the organization. 
6. Third Round- HR & Technical Interview: 
Shortlisted students will appear for HR and Technical round and the final selection will be done. 
7. Post-Selection Talk: 
Once the student is selected, he will be given an internship confirmation letter. Company’s executive may provide guidelines about joining procedure and other prerequisites if needed.
