Principal Accountabilities of the Role:-

  • Acquire Affluent Customers

  1. Acquire Early Affluent/Affluent customers.
  • Manage Relationships

  1. Manage the 100 – 200 customers of the branch who can be in combination of the 
  2. following. C1+C2( AUM between 1- 10Lacs), SB > 1 Lacs of Avg balance, CA> 3 Lacs of Avg 
  3. Balance, FD > 10 Lacs. 
  4. One point of contact for all customers for Wealth as well as Service requirements of the customers.
  5. Cross-sell various products depending on the Need analysis of the customers, which are Assets, BB, NTFX, Credit cards, 3-in -1 Trading, FES cards.
  • Wealth Management

  1. Do basic Financial planning of the customer and conduct Need analysis. 
  2. Cross-Sell investments, life insurance, general insurance and SIP.
  • Compliance

  1. Ensure AMFI and IRDA certification.
  2. Ensure all customer instructions are executed the same day
  3. Ensure 100% documentation of all transactions.
  • Branch Development

  1. Drive Non primary customer in their base towards Primary.
  2. Driving multi product strategy in the tagged base

Role Outline/Job Summary
The Universal Banker would be deployed as either a Retail UB or a CAW UB and would be expected to work in a target driven environment and delivery across a multiple product lines which are cards/mortgages/personal loans/citibanking&citigold. They would be aligned to either retail market sourcing or towards specific corporate salary segments where citi has specific tie ups.


Core Responsibilities:
1.     Delivering on Card Acquisition/PL targets through Direct Sales and Xsell of other banking products such as Mortgage, Banking accounts and third party products such as Insurance
2.     Ability to recognize Business potential for acquiring new customers in the corporate space and formulate acquisition initiatives
3.     Carry out sales activities with the view to enhance market share of Personal loans/Cards in existing Corporates as well as entrench in new corporate relationships
4.     Provide complete and comprehensive information on products, services, charges etc. proactively to the customer and ensure best service standards
5.     Responsible for liaisoning with CA / Brokers, Developer engagement, etc for sourcing/ referring Mortgage loans
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
1.     Ability to Influence the customer for entering into a banking relationship with the bank by identifying the right product.
2.     Understanding of basic Financials / Ability to analyze data
3.     Good Communication skills
4.     Ensure that KYC/AML and other compliance norms are strictly adhered to
